Filing for places on the Lampasas, Kempner and Lometa city council ballots begins Feb. 8 and continues until March 8.

Filing dates are the same for seats on the board of trustees of the Lampasas Independent School District and the Lometa Independent School District.

Early voting is April 26 to May 4. May 8 is election day.
