The next GED test at Gatesville High School will be given Feb. 9- 10. Registration, expected to last 30 minutes to an hour, is Feb. 3 from 5-7 p.m. Bring identification, Social Security card and a $65 fee for the test.

Those who have not passed in 2002-2009 and need to retest one or more parts must pay a $15 fee for each part. It must have been six months since the test was taken or since the participant attended GED classes, or they must have a note from the instructor that it is time to retest.

Those testing for the first time must go online to www.utk16.org/ scoring. On the homepage, click on the “GED Testers” link for the GED Demographic Form. Step-by-step instructions will be provided from there. The remainder of registration must be done at the high school.
