Miranda and Charlie Tankersley Miranda Shipp became the bride of Charlie Tankersley of Mertzon in a Dec. 1, 2009, ceremony at The Little Church of the West in Las Vegas, Nev.

The bride is the daughter of Randy and Tammye Shipp of Lometa, and Frank and Kay Lindley of Mertzon.

The groom’s parents are Billy Tankersley, and Clair Tankersley, both of Mertzon.

Autumn Rankin of Pipe Creek was maid of honor, and Wes Tankersley was best man.

The bride, a registered nurse, is charge nurse in the emergency room at Reagan Hospital District in Big Lake.

The groom is a rancher and relief pumper for Pioneer Natural Resources in San Angelo.

The couple spent their wedding trip at the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas.
