Boy Scouts celebrating 100 years
The Boy Scouts of America is touring the country to give people a hands-on view of the organization’s 100-year anniversary.
Adventure Base 100, a 10,000- square-foot campus of Scout-related experiences, will be in Austin on Jan. 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Jan. 31 from 1-4 p.m. at the Bullock State History Museum, 1800 Congress Ave.
There will be a ropes course, exhibits, digital interactives, a multisensory IMAX-like dome, a stage, pinewood derby, traveling museum, dutch oven cooking and more.
