Anthony “Tony/Sonny” Virgil Grasham of Temple died Jan. 19, 2010. He was 65.

Visitation is Jan. 24 from 6-8 p.m. at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen.

Funeral services are Jan. 25 at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.

Mr. Grasham was born Aug. 7, 1944, in Eau Claire, Wisc., to Virgil and Clara Grasham.

He attended Killeen High School and served in the U.S. Navy, with two tours in Vietnam.

Mr. Grasham worked for many years with Mid Texas, Centel, Sprint and Telecom, and then became an independent telephone contractor.

He volunteered as a neighborhood watchman, and enjoyed being out-of-doors.

Survivors include a son and his wife, Ronald and Shelly Grasham of Lampasas; a daughter and her husband, Mindi and Jason Lofland of Purmela; sisters, Shirley Grasham and Connie Cryer and husband, Dennis, all of Killeen, and Sherry Lutz and husband, Wayne, of Youngsport, Texas; brothers, Donald Grasham of Killeen and Robert Grasham of Goldthwaite; and grandchildren, Trent, Austin, Victoria, Savannah, Trevor, Wyatt, Isaac, Brodie and Aidan.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
