RACE

The 89th MP Brigade and Lampasas City 10K March Against Hunger will be held March 6 at 9 a.m. at the Gavin Garrett Soccer Park.

Registration for the race will be on the same day at 7 a.m.

There will also be a 5K fun run/walk. The 10K is considered a moderate to difficult course, while the 5K is a moderate to easy course.

SOCCER

The Lampasas Soccer Association is accepting registrations for new players for the spring season.

Available age groups are U-11 boys, U-13 boys, U-15 boys and U-19 girls. More groups could be added depending on interest.

LSA teams compete in the Capitol Area Youth Soccer Association and play matches in the Central Texas area.
