Norma Collette Spinner of Lometa died Jan. 17, 2010, at Continuous Care Hospital in Temple. She was 40.

A memorial service is Jan. 20 at 10 a.m. at Church of the Hills in Lometa with Pastor Bob McClinton officiating. The body will be cremated.

Mrs. Spinner was born June 11, 1969, in Santa Monica, Calif., the daughter of Norman Kalland and Janet Adam Kalland.

While in high school, she participated in FFA and 4-H.

She was a restaurant owner and had lived in Lometa for a number of years. Mrs. Spinner was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Survivors include her mother of Lampasas; three daughters, Valerie Edwards and Cody of Lampasas, Amy Smith and Steven of Santa Maria, Calif., and Christine Skaggs and Andrew of Apple Valley, Calif.; four sisters, Erica Lewis of Abilene, Goodi Sanders of Salt Flat, Hazel Kalland of Colorado and Phyllis Duval of Montana; and the father of her children, Brent Spinner of Apple Valley.

She was preceded in death by her father.
