Georgene Marie English, 66, of Lampasas, formerly of Michigan, died Jan. 11, 2010, at her residence.

Funeral Mass is Jan. 15 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lampasas with Father Pedro Castillo officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. English was born Oct. 13, 1943, in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of Bernard and Jean Warns Brubaker.

She grew up in Michigan, where she attended school.

She married William C. English on Nov. 27, 1964, in Michigan.

They moved to Texas in June 2007. Mrs. English was a member of the Catholic church.

Survivors include her husband of Lampasas; one son, Michael William English of Freeland, Mich.; two daughters, Laney Marie English Opperman of Freeland and Jennifer Jean English of Lampasas; two sisters, Beverly Ann Whitney of Breckenridge, Mich. and Marcia Piortowski of Mancelona, Mich.; her parents of Breckenridge; 11

grandchildren; and four greatgrandchildren.
