Lampasas Art Club members met Dec. 14 at the Lampasas Art Gallery.

They discussed the recycling program. Aluminum cans will be picked up at the gallery, and other items may be dropped off at the recycling facility. Members were encouraged to have the proceeds credited to the gallery’s account.

Membership dues and other fees are due for the new year. To renew membership, mail dues to the gallery address.

Dorothy Berg was named Artist of the Month for January. Her work is on display at the foyer of My Girls.

New business included presentation of officers for the 2010 club year. They are Lillian Perkins, president; Marlene Corbin, first vice president; Sheila Ringer, second vice president; Barbara Racino, treasurer; and Mary Tittle, secretary.

Mrs. Perkins expressed the club’s appreciation to outgoing officers and presented a Christmas corsage to outgoing president Mary Ellen Zimmerman for her service.

The regular meeting was followed by the club’s Christmas party with a potluck meal and gift exchange.

Next meeting is Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the gallery.
