Mitch and Kalyn Taylor of Fort Hood are the parents of a son, Brodie Lonas Taylor, born Nov. 19, 2009, at 4:27 a.m. at Fort Hood.

At birth, Brodie weighed 8 pounds, 10 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches in length.

Grandparents are Skip and Vicki Taylor, and Raymond and Barby Roberts, all of Lampasas.

Great-grandparents are Brenda Taylor and the late Owen Taylor of Kempner, and Charles McDonald and the late Rena Faye McDonald, and the late Thomas and Joan Fry, all of Lampasas.
