Henry Hoffmann Hendrix, 92, died Dec. 31, 2009.

Funeral services were Jan. 4 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. Burial was at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.

Mr. Hendrix was born Oct. 25, 1917, the son of T.C. and Pansy Griffin Hendrix.

He traveled and worked outside the U.S. and met his wife, Lucille Ward, in Guam. He worked abroad for many years, retiring on Lake Buchanan. He moved to Georgetown and then to Round Rock.

He is survived by daughters, Linda H. Runyan of Bastrop and M. Elaine Walsh of Round Rock; sonsin law, Brian Runyan and Tom Walsh; grandchildren, Gabriel Scott Wallace of New Orleans, La., Thomas Read Walsh and Cassandra Leigh Smith, both of Round Rock, and Abigail Laine Sellers of Hutto; and great-grandchildren, Olivia Bowen and Brady Sellers.

Mr. Hendrix was preceded in death by his wife and by siblings, Tilleta Hendrix Lemoine, Alexine Hendrix, Chester Hendrix.
