I just read Diana McDonald’s letter [“Christmas is different this year,” Dec. 22]. I went to Sarah Palin’s book-signing too, and felt the same sentiment as hers. I always agree so totally with Diana’s outlook that it could have been my own letter.

One thing I’ve wanted to mention in a letter to the editor is: President Obama, months ago, said that he would get this health reform bill through if he had to take it in the back door. So far, that is the only promise he made that he has kept.

Heaven help us.
