SOFTBALL

Softball clinics for basic throwing, grounding and fielding will be held Jan. 3 at Turner Field Park.

Cost is $5 per girl for all skill levels.

U-8 and U-10 clinics are from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. with U-12 and U-14 clinics running from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Tryouts for the Bat Girls U-14 Fastpitch Softball Club will be held on Jan. 10 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Turner Field Park.

All positions are open.

In case of inclement weather, tryouts will be rescheduled for Jan. 17 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

LADY BADGERS

The Lady Badgers varsity basketball team will play Llano at the AT&T Center in San Antonio on Dec. 31 at 12:30 p.m.

Tickets are $30 and include admission to the San Antonio Spurs vs. Miami Heat game at 6 p.m. that evening.

This will be the final game before the Lady Badgers begin district play against Hutto on Jan. 5.
