Cen-Tex Waste Management will not collect garbage on Friday or Jan. 1 because of holidays. Trash pickup will be one day late.

The city of Lampasas’ treetrimming program also will be suspended on Christmas and New Year’s Day.

Also, all U.S. Post Offices will be closed Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
