A community forum for discussion of a possible bond issue for the Lometa Independent School District is set Jan. 18 at 7 p.m. at the Lometa School cafetorium.

Superintendent David Rice said if there is enough public support, the May ballot could contain a bond issue for $4 million to $4.8 million for new construction and renovation of existing facilities.
