Ruby Lee Sultemeir, 87, of Lampasas died Dec. 18, 2009, at her residence.

Funeral services were Dec. 20 at Sneed Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Tim Ochsner officiating. Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Sultemeir was born March 10, 1922, in Lake Victor.

She was married to Warren Henry Sultemeir.

Mrs. Sultemeir was a hairdresser for many years. She was a lifelong Lampasas resident. Her hobbies included gardening and participating in food and quilt shows.

She is survived by a son, Johnny Sultemeir and wife, Sarah, of Burnet; a daughter, Linda Bormann of Lampasas; a brother, Odell Mallett of Burnet; and five grandchildren, Brice, Bruce, Bradley, Genesis and Eden.

She was preceded in death by her husband and by a brother, Chester Mallett.
