Senior showmanship in the swine division went to John Brooks. Exhibitors and supporters filled the Lometa Show Barn for the annual Lometa Junior Livestock Show last weekend.

The event marks the beginning of the countdown until the county show in January.

Taking grand champion in the market steer division was Blayze Bierschwale, who was also awarded grand champion and reserve champion heifer honors.

Braedon Raub’s steer was named reserve champion.

Capturing the senior showmanship title in cattle was Madison Langford, while Presli Procter took the junior showman award.

The grand champion market hog was exhibited by Trampus Morrison, and the reserve champion market hog was shown by Mason Moresco.

John Brooks was named senior swine showmanship winner, and Taylor Loeffler earned junior swine showman honors.

Grand champion lamb was exhibited by Ty Pauly, who also was named senior sheep showmanship winner, and Collin Bowen showed the reserve grand champ lamb.

Samantha Phillips was named the senior goat showmanship award winner. Junior sheep showmanship went to Mikhaila Barnett.

Pauly also had the grand champion meat goat.

Monica Bridges showed the reserve champ meat goat.

Senior goat showmanship was presented to Samantha Phillips, while Megan Cline took the junior showman award.

Grand and reserve champion breeding goats were exhibited by Monica Bridges.
