Ronald Van Hart Jr., 52, of Lometa died Dec. 14, 2009, at his residence.

A memorial service is Dec. 18 at 10 a.m. at Family of Faith Church in Lometa. The body will be cremated.

Mr. Hart was born April 22, 1957, in Hartsville, Ind., the son of Ronald Van Hart Sr. and Sandra Hicks Hart.

He married Diana Griffin on Sept. 21, 1981, in Alvin.

Mr. Hart had been a Lometa resident for 24 years. He worked for a commercial painting and drywall company and traveled the U.S. with his work.

Survivors include his wife of Lometa; two daughters, Jennifer Hart of Lometa and Angie Hart of Florida; two sons, Justin Hart and Jonathan Hart, both of Lometa; his mother of Indiana; a brother, Jay Hart of Indiana; three sisters, Margo Hobson, Debbie Thorockmortos and Angie Goulet, all of Indiana; and nine grandchildren.
