A Pierian Christmas concert of Christmas carols was held Dec. 1 at First Presbyterian Church. The concert is presented each year as a gift to the community from the Pierian Club of Lampasas.

Club president Susan Browder welcomed everyone who braved the cold, rainy weather to attend the annual event.

Carol Wright led the invocation.

Betty Ann Whitis on piano and Jo Ater on organ performed instrumental carols accompanied by 18 members of the Lampasas High School choir.

An angel-themed reception was held in the church parlor after the concert, hosted by Nancy Patteson, social committee chair, and committee members Amy Davis, Jane Westerfield, Bobbie Joseph and Karen Cambon.
