In recent 27th District Court action, a pretrial hearing for Lowell Preston Garza, 20, of Kempner was set for Dec. 18. Garza is charged with capital murder, individual under age six for the death of his twomonth old daughter, Isabela Preslei Garza, on Aug. 17.
For injury to a child-serious bodily injury, Garza has a motion to adjudicate set also on Dec. 18.
In other proceedings, Benjamin Guevera Ramirez, 37, received 16 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Institutional Division for sexual assault of a child. He was credited with jail time served.
For criminal non-support, Alonzo Moses Botello, 41, of Lampasas had his probation revoked and was ordered to serve 15 months in state jail. He was credited with 15 months served.
On a charge of driving while intoxicated and felony repetition, Botello was given 10 years’ probation and a $750 fine. He also must complete a term in a Central Texas treatment center program.
Timothy Wayne Key, 21, received four years’ deferred adjudication probation and a $1,000 fine for possession of marijuana over four ounces and under five pounds.
For criminal non-support, Donald Wayne Combs, 49, was given four years’ probation and must serve 100 hours of community service.
For burglary of a habitation, 18- year-old Landon William Dalton of Lampasas was assessed four years’ deferred adjudication probation and a $500 fine. He must pay $700 restitution and was ordered to attend an Intermediate Sanction Facility.
Marie Renee Salazar, 36, of Lampasas had her bond revoked on a charge of manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance over one gram and under four grams.
A pretrial hearing is set for today for Denita Lorraine Kessack, 24, for credit card abuse.
Dec. 18 pretrial hearings are set for James Worth Nesom, 52, of Buchanan Dam for theft over $20,000 and under $100,000; Daniel Scott Summers, 18, of Lampasas for evading arrest/detention with a vehicle; and Sean Matthew Reed, 18, of Lampasas for delivery of marijuana over onefourth ounce and under five pounds.
Motion to adjudicate hearings are set Jan. 8 for Jamie Elaine Pace, 44, for fraudulent prescription form, and Anthony Bray Cruz, 30, of Lampasas for two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
On his charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, Adam Keith Richardson, 25, of Kempner is set for a Jan. 8 pretrial hearing.
A plea is expected to be entered Jan. 15 by Roger Allen Voigt, 28, of Lampasas on a charge of burglary of a habitation.
An adjudication hearing on a charge of fraudulent application for Texas certificate of title by Arnold Eugene Marsh, 27, is slated Jan. 22.
