Funeral services for Carolyn McLaren, 76, of Lampasas are Dec. 12, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel with Robert Larquet officiating. Burial will follow at Townsen Cemetery.

Visitation is Dec. 11 from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. McLaren died Dec. 9 at her residence.

She was born March 30, 1933, in Hollywood, Calif., the daughter of Julius Frank and Cordelia Baldwin Parker Brinkerhoff.

Mrs. McLaren was a secretary for Oxidental Chemical Company for a number of years. She was a member of Berean Christadelphian Church in Lampasas.

She was married to Maxwell McLaren and he preceded her in death.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Randy Knoche of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two sons and their wives, Brian and Susan Thompson of Newburgh, Ind., and Bill and Shannon Thompson of Houston; and seven grandchildren.
