Hyae K. Deavers, 65, of Lampasas died Dec. 7, 2009, at Heart Hospital of Austin.

Funeral services are Dec. 11 at 9:15 a.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio with Pastor George Lumpkin officiating.

A memorial service is set Dec. 11 at 3 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Lampasas.

Mrs. Deavers was born July 19, 1944, in Seoul, Korea, the daughter of Dr. Andrew and Sarah Kim Nahm.

She was married to Herman Lloyd Deavers and he preceded her in death in 1995.

Mrs. Deavers was a homemaker. She most recently attended First United Methodist Church in Lampasas. She was a local volunteer for various organizations.

Survivors include a sister and her husband, Sue and Leo Mathieu of Plano; a brother, Kenneth Nahm of Chicago; two nephews, David Mathieu and Sherman Mathieu; a niece, Anna Marie Nahm; three great-nieces; and three great-nephews.
