The annual holiday dinner party and offficer installation for Democrats will be Thursday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Hidden Falls Restaurant in Meadowlands. The event is for Democrats from Llano and Burnet counties and members of Highland Lakes Democratic Women.

Cost is $15 per person. Unwrapped toys or books for children and non-perishable foods for local food banks will be accepted.

A silent auction will be held. Donations will go into the club’s scholarship fund for presentation at three area high schools.
