The Lampasas Community Cantata Choir will present its Christmas cantata, “The Mystery and the Majesty,” by Joseph M. Martin on Sunday at 5 p.m. at First United Methodist Church.

The Joy Ringers Handbell Choir from the Lampasas church also will present special selections. Both groups are under the direction of Don Peterson, director of music ministries/organist of FUMC.

The community cantata consists of singers from other churches in Lampasas County, Copperas Cove and surrounding areas, as well as singers unaffiliated with a church.

After the musical presentation, the public is invited to a reception, “A Taste of Christmas,” served by United Methodist Women. A nursery is provided.
