The Lampasas County grand jury handed down eight indictments in its most recent term.

The Lampasas Police Department presented a case that resulted in the indictment of Henry Torrez Sanchez, 58, for driving while intoxicated, third or more, on Nov. 1.

Indictments were handed down in cases presented by the Lampasas County Sheriff’s Department against:

• James Benedict Abell, 43, for terroristic threat, on Dec. 3, 2008.

• John Alvin Hull III, 30, for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, methamphetamine, on Nov. 4.

• Ashlie Nicole Oliver, 40, for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, methamphetamine, on Nov. 4.

• Sara Elizabeth Dickison, 27, for improper relationship between educator/ student, on Sept. 1, 2008.

• Lemuel Eugene Shaw, 63, for sexual performance by a child, on Sept. 6.

• Ginger Teresa Griffin, 29, for injury to a child, bodily injury, on Oct. 20.

In a case presented by the Lampasas County attorney’s office, James Williard Williams, 40, was indicted for driving while intoxicated, third or more, on Sept. 6.
