PHOTO BY LISA CARNLEY Students at each of the Lampasas Independent School District elementary campuses dressed like the characters in their favorite storybooks for a special day of events last Tuesday. In addition to bowling for trolls, nursery rhyme relays, mirror-making and face painting, youngsters, such as this Kline Whitis Elementary student dressed in her witch finery, improved their vocabulary and spelling by doing word puzzles and games. Snow White participated in a nursery rhyme relay which consisted of jumping over a candlestick and knocking over Humpty Dumpty.
