LHS students received an eighth-place banner in competition at Blanco. Team members include, from left, Matt Allen, John Cole Vann, Kleg Kennedy, David Straley and Ben Henderson. A number of Lampasas High School students competed at the Area 7 Leadership Contest in Blanco recently.

The ag issues team placed 11th with members Zack Sparger, Samantha Sparger, Nicole Sales, Morgan Savage and Michael Fisher.

The public relations team of Maddie Langford, Cory Carpenter, Jeyde Kelly and Josh Biggs finished in 12th place.

Jeyde Kelly took eighth in senior creed.

The junior farm skills team placed eighth. Team members are David Straley, Kleg Kennedy, Matt Allen, Ben Henderson and John Cole Vann.
