Carolyn Harman Parman died Nov. 23, 2009, at The Vintage in Denton after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Funeral services are Nov. 27 at 1 p.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas. Visitation will follow from 6-7:30 p.m. at the funeral chapel.

Mrs. Parman had grown up in Lampasas. She married Carroll David Parman in San Marcos in 1950.

She was an active member of the Church of Christ, Daughters of the Republic of Texas, Daughters of the American Revolution, San Marcos Garden Club, a past board member of Quail Creek Country Club and had worked for the San Marcos Independent School District.

Survivors include a son and his wife, David and Margie Parman of Fort Worth; a daughter and her husband, Andra and Alan Perrin of Justin; grandchildren, Brian Perrin and wife, Jennifer, of Jacksonville, Fla., Carie Bruss and husband, Jay, of and Jamie Bass and Joel, all of Lincoln, Neb., and Michael Perrin and wife, Dana, of Keller; and great-grandchildren Tayler Perrin, Connor Brown, Gabrial Perrin, Cody Bruss, Bailey Bruss and Leyton Perrin.

She was preceded in death by her husband in December 2006.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation or First Street Church of Christ in Lampasas. SNEED Funeral Chapel
