The city of Lampasas’ water system will not be receiving water from its supplier Kempner Water Supply Corp. from midnight Monday through midnight on Dec. 1 due to work being performed by KWSC on water transmission lines that service the city.

Because of the work, the city’s only water supply will be provided from the city’s storage tank facilities which have a limited supply capacity.

City officials request customers significantly curtail commercial and domestic water usage of the following during the time period.

• Use of irrigation systems or yard watering.

• Washing of commercial establishment driveways and parking areas.

• Filling of pools, hot tubs and wading pools.
