The Schaub Family Band will perform at the Uptown Marble Theater on Nov. 28. The event, at 8 p.m., will feature two 50-minute sets.

The live music venue is at 218 Main St. in Marble Falls.

The performance is in honor of Lampasas musician Reid Schaub, and it will feature him and his children and grandchildren, who share his love for music.

“I’m really tickled,” said Roland Schaub, of the recognition his father will receive, as he and other family members perform musically.

Information from the theater’s Web site, uptownmarble.com, said: “Hailing from nearby Lampasas, this musical family has made a name for themselves with family members working in support of an array of different artists.

“Grandpa Schaub recently played an Austin City Limits segment with Ryan Bingham and grandson Corby. What could be better than a smalltown Thanksgiving holiday concert with the multi-generational Schaub Family Band at the Uptown Theater?”

Crews will video the event, and one of the videotapes may be forwarded to Lampasas’ Keystone Museum, Roland Schaub said.

Ticket information can be found at the theater’s Web site.
