Adamsville Heritage Association, in conjunction with the Adamsville Fire Department and Adamsville Community Center, will host the second annual Christmas Lighting Tour and La Posada on Dec. 5 at the fire station.

Santa and his sleigh will be on hand for pictures and collection of wish lists. Caroling and a Nativity scene starring Adamsville youth will be directed by Linda Porter.

The U.S. Highway 281 corridor will be lighted for several miles. Stew, cornbread and cookies will be served from 6:30-8:30 p.m. with donations accepted.

A quilt drawing will be held at 7 p.m., and heritage cookbooks and history books will be on sale.

Bring a lawn chair and enjoy the campfire atmosphere, fun and food.

A unique Christmas bazaar table of arts and crafts will be open for sale.
