The Lampasas High School Badger Band played, the Community Choir participated, and Fort Hood took part with a variety of events, including the keynote speaker, Lt. Col. Tim Daugherty. Saluting in the background at left are former Mayor Jack Calvert, who served as master of ceremonies; Lt. Col. Tim Daugherty, keynote speaker; and Jack Shelton, who led a prayer at the start of the event.
The Lampasas Community Choir performed several selections for a packed Badger Field last week.
Merritt Romans, who has undertaken the task of collecting information on veterans for Keystone Square Museum, visits with a resident on pertinent facts needed for the museum’s files.
Members of Fort Hood’s K-9 unit were on hand for a demonstration of skills.
