Mary Louis Johnson Allen Brian, 70, a homemaker, teacher and missionary, died Nov. 13, 2009, at Seton Medical Center in Austin following a battle with cancer.

Services were Nov. 16 at Cowboy Church in Brownwood with Pastor Todd King officiating. Burial was at Oak Grove Cemetery in Walnut Springs.

Mrs. Brian was born Dec. 28, 1938, in Nacogdoches, to James Lloyd and Lenox Sims Johnson.

She graduated from Marshall High School and attended Rhema Bible Training School in Broken Arrow, Okla.

She was married to Jack R. Allen.

Survivors include daughters, Fralen Allen and Jackie Torres, both of Pflugerville, Mary Elizabeth Stratton and husband, Scott, of Hutto, and Jamie Moseley and husband, Stephen, of Lampasas; grandchildren, Jimmy Torres and wife, Lindsey, Jeremy Calahan and wife, Hilary, Caleb Stratton, Amanda Moseley, Hope Moseley and Faith Elizabeth (Libby) Moseley; greatgrandchildren, Brayton McKynlee Torres and Oakley Rock Torres; a brother, Jimmy (Bubba) Johnson of Marshall; and two nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Rocky Allen, and James Raymond Allen.

Memorials may be made to Aldersgate Enrichment Center.
