Lometa speech and debate teams competed in the Tournament that Teaches at Lampasas High School on Oct. 31, and they had much success. Alexis Ivey was second in varsity poetry, and Cassidy Wienecke took first in varsity extemporaneous speaking. Josh Logsdon was second in varsity Lincoln-Douglas Debate, while Lyndsay Delp was fourth in novice Lincoln-Douglas Debate. Samantha Phillips took fourth in novice prose.
