DRT hears report from LISD trustee
The Oran Milo Roberts Chapter, Daughters of the Republic of Texas met Nov. 2 at the Hostess House.
After an opening prayer and pledges to American and Texas flags, Diane Davis, president, conducted the chapter’s business meeting.
Refreshments were served by Molly Miller and Becky Haner.
Wilma Culp introduced her daughter, Linda Floerke, a chapter member and a trustee of the Lampasas Independent School District board. She presented a program on the proposed Lampasas County Higher Education Center.
Next meeting is Dec. 7 at the Hostess House. Reavis Tomlinson will offer a musical program after a Christmas dinner for members and guests.
