Graveside services for Bobby Wayne Formby Sr., 63, of Temple were Nov. 11, 2009, at Cook Walden Capital Parks Cemetery with Minister Ronnie Harmon officiating.

Mr. Formby died Nov. 8 at his Temple residence.

He was born Feb. 23, 1946, in Lampasas, the son of Lester and Martha Pauline Parsons Formby.

Mr. Formby married Sharon Jean Anderson on June 18, 1965, in Temple.

He worked for many years as an electro/mechanical design engineer. He retired from Motorola in 1998.

Survivors include his wife of Temple; one daughter, Nancy Causey of Kyle; two sons, Bobby Formby Jr. of Cypress and Dutch Formby of Round Rock; a brother, Lester Formby of Lampasas; a sister, Norma Atkison of Lampasas; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Justin Blakeley in 2000.
