Price-Eckermann Mr. and Mrs. Virgil D. Price of Ben Arnold announce the engagement of their daughter, Colleen Elaine to Derrek Lane Eckermann, son of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Eckermann of Lampasas.

The couple plan a Dec. 12, 2009, ceremony at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Praha.

Miss Price is a 2003 graduate of C.H. Yoe High School and a 2008 graduate of Texas Tech University.

She is a landscape designer for Eckermann Engineering Inc.

Mr. Eckermann is a 1997 Lampasas High School graduate and a 2001 Texas A&M University graduate.

He is a licensed civil engineer and the owner of Eckermann Engineering Inc. in Lampasas.
