Elizabeth Thea Cole, 76, of Hamilton, formerly of Copperas Cove, died Oct. 29, 2009, in a Hamilton hospital.

Graveside services were Nov. 2 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio.

Mrs. Cole was born Feb. 9, 1933, in Schwetzingen, Germany, to Ernst Becker and Thea Buschovsky.

She enjoyed painting.

Survivors include a daughter, Frances Green and husband, Cecil of Lampasas; three grandchildren, Christina, Tamara and Charles; six great-grandchildren, Jeremiah, Samuel, Elijah, Jaedon, Jodian and Elisen.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Cole, in 1991.
