Her work has been exhibited in shows and galleries around Texas and New Mexico, and she has taught art classes since 1976.
She enjoys painting Native American Indians and children's portraits, and is a member of the American Society of Portrait Artists, the Pastel Society of the Southwest and the Austin Pastel Society, which she co-founded in 1998.
The demonstration, open to the public, is at the gallery, 503 Bessemer, at 10 a.m., followed by a potluck luncheon at noon. Admission is $5.
A business meeting will be held after lunch.
