Preserving the legend of the Native American bison, the Texas Bison Association's fifth annual Texas Bison Expo is Nov. 7 at the Fort Worth Stockyards Station.

The event attracts hundreds of ranchers and bison enthusiasts.

The expo features exhibitors from the bison industry around the state, informative seminars on raising bison, the World Championship Buffalo Burger Challenge and more. Growing in popularity among consumers and restaurants, bison meat is very lean and has become popular in supermarkets across the country.
