Grand Jury

The Lampasas County grand jury handed down 15 indictments in its most recent term.

The Lampasas Police Department presented cases that resulted in the indictment of:

• Cody James Myers, 25, for theft, on April 1, 2007.

• David Lee Rudd, 30, for forgery, on Dec. 31.

• Dale Dishman, 45, for false statement to obtain credit, on July 9, 2008.

• Steven Ray Gant, 45, for driving while intoxicated, third or more, on Sept. 15.

• Icom Henry Evans II, 32, for possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, on Sept. 20.

• Joshua Shawn Davis, 24, for possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, on Sept. 20.

• Denita Lorraine Kessack, 24, for debit card abuse, on Sept. 20.

• Sammy Keith Caldwell, 31, for evading arrest with a vehicle, on Oct. 5.

Indictments were handed down in cases presented by the Lampasas County Sheriff's Department against:

• Daniel Scott Somers, 18, for evading arrest with a vehicle, on Sept. 16.

• Jonathan Ezekiel Holley, 20, for burglary of a habitation, on Sept. 25.

• Roger Allen Voigt, 28, for burglary of a habitation, on Sept. 25.

• Joab Fuentes, 23, for possession of a controlled substance, cocaine, on Oct. 4.

The Lampasas County attorney presented cases that resulted in the indictments of:

• Gamaliel Garcia, 55, for driving while intoxicated, third or more, on Sept. 6.

• Wayne Joseph Persick, 57, for driving while intoxicated, third or more, on Sept. 8.
