Art auction slated Saturday
Preservation Lampasas Inc. will hold its second annual art auction and exhibition of fine art on Saturday at First United Methodist Church’s Wesley Fellowship Hall.
The exhibition, open to the public, starts at 6 p.m., followed by the auction at 7 p.m.
Funds raised will benefit ongoing restoration of the historic Lampasas Colored School.
Produced by the Perry Berns Gallery of Dallas, the event will feature original oils, watercolors and prints by internationally famous artists and new artists.
All art is custom framed and guaranteed by written certificate.
Perry Berns Gallery has been conducting fund-raising art auctions for 10 years. Prices generally range between $35 and $500, but could go higher.
Guests sign in, receive a catalog bidding number and ticket for a door prize, and have the opportunity to view and discuss the more than 200 works of art with the auctioneer.
