LHS TENNIS
The Lampasas junior varsity tennis team traveled to Copperas Cove Thursday and shut out the host team, winning 19-0.
The win keeps Lampasas' unbeaten record intact at 4-0 as the Badgers and Lady Badgers head into tournament play.
Lampasas is off all this week before traveling to the Pflugerville tournament on Oct. 29. After that, the team is scheduled to play at Killeen (Nov. 5) and Georgetown (Nov. 12).
GOLF
The 26th annual Highland Lakes Family Crisis Center Golf Tournament will be held Oct. 24 at the Delaware Springs Golf Course in Burnet.
In addition to the tournament, there will be a silent auction.
Various sponsorships are available.
Interested parties wanting more information should call 830-693-3656 and ask for the golf coordinator.
There is a 144-player limit.

The Colorado River Cattlewomen's ninth annual golf tournament will be held at the Hancock Park Golf Course Oct. 24. Tee off will be at 1 p.m. with dinner beginning at 7 p.m.
Entry fee is $75 per person with a limit of 36 teams. There will be no refunds after Oct. 14.
Cash prizes will be awarded.
To register, send payment by Wednesday to Becca Dishman at 2 Park Place, Lampasas, TX, 76550 or pay at Hancock Park Golf Course.
CAMP
The Project Graduation Badger Camp will be held Oct. 30 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Badger Stadium for students in kindergarten through sixth grade.
Led by Badger seniors, varsity players will teach football skills from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a performance following.
Cost is $30 for the camp, and includes a snack, drink and Tshirt. The concession stand will be open.
Forms can be picked up and returned to school offices.
Project Graduation is an allnight, drug-free, alcohol-free party for graduating seniors.
Meetings are held the third Monday of each month at 6 p.m. at Grace Fellowhip. Parents of seniors are encouraged to attend.
SOCCER
The Tri-County Soccer Officials Association is seeking people interested in officiating local high school soccer.
Experience is preferred, but not required.
