Hospital earns reaccreditation
Rollins Brook Community Hospital has received renewal of accreditation from the Joint Commission, the accreditation organization for healthcare quality measurements in the U.S.
"The accreditation process is designed to help the organization continuously provide safe, high-quality care, treatment and services by identifying opportunities for improvement in their processes and helping them follow through on and implement these improvements," said Ann Scott Blouin, RN, PhD., and executive vice president of Accreditation and Certification Operations for The Joint Commission.
After surveying a list of standards to be upheld by a critical access hospital, The Joint Commission granted Rollins Brook accreditation for adhering to the strict standards of compliance.
"Rollins Brook Community Hospital has once again shown the high quality of care our employees and physicians provide by obtaining The Joint Commission reaccreditation," said Jeff Villanueva, vice president of Metroplex Health System and Rollins Brook Community Hospital administrator.
"In alignment with our mission, Metroplex Health System strives to provide the highest quality of care for all. The Joint Commission ensures that we are constantly evolving and improving on behalf of our patients."
