LHS GOLF
The Lady Badgers varsity golf team opened their season last week with a successful trip to Manor where the team placed fifth overall at the ShadowGlen Golf Club.
Jules Crook and Carmen Gonzalez led the team as each posted an 87, tying them for fifth place.
Mackenzie Martin shot a 105, followed by Brittany Graham's 115. In her first varsity tournament, freshman Lauren Davis scored a 116.
Bastrop finished the tournament with the top individual and team showings.
GOLF
The Lampasas Badger Golf Tournament will be held Sunday at Hancock Park Golf Course.
The two-person scramble tournament will begin at noon with a shotgun start.
Entry fee is $45, and
.
mullligans cost $5. The fee
includes half a golf cart, green fee, cap and a streak dinner.
Flight winners receive custom Moore Maker knives, and all proceeds benefit the LHS golf teams.

CAMP
The Project Graduation Badger Camp will be held Oct. 30 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Badger Stadium for students in kindergarten through sixth grade.
Led by Badger seniors, varsity players will teach football skills from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a performance following.
Cost is $30 for the camp, and includes a snack, drink and Tshirt. The concession stand will be open.
Forms can be picked up and returned to school offices.
Project Graduation is an allnight, drug-free, alcohol-free party for graduating seniors.
Meetings are held the third Monday of each month at 6 p.m. at Grace Fellowhip. Parents of seniors are encouraged to attend.
