Girls between 13 and 18 years old who have never been married may send in an application for the title of 2010 Miss Teen Lampasas, who will represent her area at the Miss Teen Texas International Pageant at the Scottish Rite Auditorium in San Antonio in March.

The Lampasas winner will be an ambassador for the community and will receive an official title and sash.

Miss Teen Texas is eligible for a scholarship and prize package valued at over $15,000, and the opportunity to represent Texas at the 2010 Miss Teen International Pageant in Chicago in July.

American Heart Association is the official charity of Miss Teen Texas International, and Miss Teen Texas will champion heart disease prevention as her platform during her reign.

Teen contestants will compete in personal interview, fitness wear, fun fashion wear and evening gown. There is no talent or swimsuit competition. No experience is necessary.
