Wedding vows exchanged

Stacy and Jeffrey McDonald Stacy JoLynn Morris and Jeffrey Charles McDonald, both of Early, were united in marriage in a Sept. 26, 2009, ceremony at Melody Oaks Ranch.

Alvin Slaughter, pastor of Lampasas Baptist Church, officiated the double-ring evening ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Deborah Horton of Early, and Harlan James Morris of Post. She is the granddaughter of Welvon Horton of Early.

The groom's parents are Charles Jeffrey McDonald of Lampasas, and Charlene Torres of Zephyr. He is the grandson of Thelma Ellis and Charles M. McDonald, both of Lampasas, and Mary Louise Welch of Brownwood.

Shane Horton, brother of the bride of Early, gave his sister in marriage. Tracey Morris, the bride's sister of Early, was maid of honor. Best man was Josh Stoval. A reception and supper followed the ceremony.

The couple is at home in Early.

The bride graduated from Texas Tech University. She is a high school teacher for the Early Independent School District.

The groom is a 2003 Lampasas High School graduate.
