Texas AgriLife Extension Service and The Antique Rose Emporium will co-sponsor rainwater harvesting workshops on Oct. 26 and Oct. 27 at The Antique Rose Emporium, 7561 E. Evans Rd. in San Antonio.

The Oct. 26 workshop will run from 6:30-8:30 p.m., and will focus on rainwater collection for the home.

The Oct. 27 workshop, from 9:30 a.m. until noon, will focus on rainwater collection for use on landscapes and wildlife.

Both workshops will include a presentation by Billy Kniffen of Menard County, an AgriLife Extension program specialist and expert on rainwater harvesting.

Cost for each workshop is $5. Participants are asked to reserve a seat by Oct. 23 by calling (210) 467-6575.
