No business making a pitch for the Olympics
I realize Joe Biden is the comedy relief of the Obama administration, but I don't remember seeing a co-president on the '08 ballot. So what is the wife of the president doing making a pitch at the International Olympic Committee? Either the president is there in a solemn official capacity, in which case she has no business being involved, or the event doesn't warrant the presence of the president of the United States, in which case the president has no business there and should have sent an envoy to represent the office.
We already have seen the man's vision, and it ain't the vision of most of America. We've seen his monumental ego, and it's ugly. Add to his ham-handed handling of economic issues and scuttling of parts of the Constitution this new bumbling effort! What Obama has done with the IOC issue is besmirch the office of the president and made his own country (and that includes you and me) look foolish.
How many of the IOC members could take the man seriously after he's run his country down across the globe? How much more of this oafish pretender must we suffer before a recall or impeachment is initiated? And don't forget: We're only nine months into his presidency, and the Obama chickens haven't come home to roost yet!
