In recent 27th District Court action, Florentino Flores, 44, of Dallas was sentenced to 20 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Institutional Division for engaging in organized criminal activity. He was credited with jail time served.
Christopher Brian Herbold, 25, of Seguin, was found guilty on three charges of burglary of a building, and he received two years in state jail on each charge.
For possession of a controlled substance, Pamela Rhea Harbin, 38, of Lampasas had her probation revoked and was given 15 months in state jail. She also was ordered to pay court costs.
George B. Johnston IV, 28, had his probation revoked and was ordered to serve 15 months in state jail for criminal mischief over $1,500 and under $20,000.
Stephen Eric Karkanen, 33, had his probation amended for aggravated assault/threat with a deadly weapon. He will attend a substance abuse felony program.
The probation of 20-year-old Ali Hussein Ibrahim of Kempner was extended for one year to allow him to enter a drug rehabilitation center. He is charged with graffiti.
A one-year state jail sentence was given to William Charles Andrews, 28, of Mineral Wells for possession of a controlled substance.
A warrant was issued and bond increased to $25,000 for Lorenzo Martinez Mejia Jr., 51, who failed to show up in court. He is charged with driving while intoxicated with a child under 15 years of age.
Paul Rivera, 25, of Brownfield failed to show up for his court appearance for driving while intoxicated, third or more. Bond was increased to $25,000, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Blanca Azuncena Cerda, 23, of Lampasas received 10 years' probation for engaging in organized criminal activity. She was ordered to pay court costs plus $130,000 restitution and must perform community service.
Dorothy Amanda Brown, 39, of Florence had her charge of possession of a controlled substance reduced to a misdemeanor. She received two years' deferred probation and a $1,000 fine.
Jury trials are set Monday for Shane Edward Johnson, 22, of Lampasas for endangering a child, and Henry Oneal Andrews, 39, of Kempner for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
On a charge of burglary of a building, Justin Allen Clark, 24, of Lampasas is set to enter a plea on Oct. 2.
Oct. 16 pretrial hearings are on the docket for Marie Renee Salazar, 35, of Lampasas for manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance over one gram and under four grams, and Ann Rockwall Evans, 28, for forgery of a financial instrument.
Arraignment is set Oct. 16 for Timothy Wayne Key, 21, of Lampasas for possession of marijuana over four ounces and under five pounds.
Pretrial hearings are slated Oct. 23 for Lometa resident Adam Trejo, 19, on a charge of manufacture/ delivery of a controlled substance under one gram, and Jamie Lee Flint, 27, of Harker Heights for engaging in organized criminal activity.
For driving while intoxicated third or more, Justen Thomas Diamond, 27, of Lampasas is set to enter a plea Oct. 23.
Also scheduled to enter a plea Oct. 23 is Dean Logan Mitchell, 18, of Lampasas. He is charged with manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance under one gram.
For burglary of a habitation, Christopher Manuel Durham, 27, of Killeen is set for an Oct. 23 revocation hearing.
An Oct. 26 jury trial is on tap for James David Ferguson, 26, for aggravated sexual assault of a child.
Pleas are to be entered Nov. 6 by Monica Marie Marez, 37, of Houston for possession of a controlled substance under one gram, and Bobbie Kay Green, 44, of Hamilton for theft over $1,500 and under $20,000.
For bail jumping/failure to appear and possession of a chemical with intent to manufacture, 34- year-old Patricia Michelle Maynard of Marble Falls is set for a Nov. 6 trial before the judge.
A trial before the judge is on the Nov. 10 docket for Lampasas resident Benjamin Guevera Ramirez, 37, on a charge of sexual assault of a child.
Nov. 16 jury trials are set for Edd E. Lefevre, 52, for driving while intoxicated third or more, and Terry Jay Holder, 45, of Burnet for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Jury trials are slated Dec. 7 for Brandon Keith Beauchamp, 23, for intoxicated assault with a vehicle causing serious bodily injury; Jason Matthew Johnson, 26, of Liberty Hill for aggravated sexual assault; James Benedict Abell, 43, of Lometa for terroristic threat of a family/household and delivery of a controlled substance; and Joel Travis Meadows, 41, for driving while intoxicated and felony repetition.
